Introduction by Monique Linder My name is Monique Linder, producer of Commemorate Black History and Culture Day presented by Ujamaa Place, taking place on March 24, 2018, hosted by the University of Saint Thomas’ Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Recy Taylor was laid to rest January 5, 2018, blocks away from where she was abducted on September 3, 1944. I traveled to Abbeville, Alabama to honor Recy Taylor’s life and legacy by spending time with her family. I wanted to know the person who was so loved by her family and community. Interview with Henry Murry, Recy Taylor’s nephew at Mary Magdalene Baptist Church on Saturday, February 17, 2018, Video Production Team Credits: Monique Linder, Producer C.J., Videographer Wedonna LaShae Morris, Photographer
